first meeting
At our first website design meeting, please bring the following:
• Any existing branding, graphics, and print collateral that you want reflect in the new website design
• Photos preferably on CD that you might want to include
• Copy that you wish to include if you have it
• Links to sites that you like and what you like about them
• A brief list of phrases that you imagine someone putting into a search engine having your site coming up at the top
• Anything else that helps us understand your vision for your website
• Information about your domain name registration if you have one
• Links to your social media accounts
These can all be in preliminary states, but this will help studio x to determine the exact quote that we can offer you on your project. We will also discuss payment options at this time.
what's next
• studio x will then propose a cost for the work to be done.
• With your agreement on cost, studio x will provide you with a detailed written proposal
• Both studio x and you, the client, will agree on the work outlined in the proposal as the work to be done at the proposed cost
• All content to be included in the new website must be in our hands for the work to begin along with an agreed upon deposit
• Within 7 - 10 working days, studio x will provide you with several design mock-ups for your comments & approval. You might choose some elements from each design and studio x will synthesize these in a final mockup for your approval
• Once the design is approved, the building of the site will begin
studio x will provide an estimated time to complete your new website.
Once the site is completed, studio x will train you and/or staff in the administration of your new website - adding, modifying & deleting content and images. Upon agreed payment, the site will go live.
In the case that your domain name is pointing to another server, studio x will assist in every way to point your domain to our server.
studio x will add your site to the SantaFe.net for free and feature it on the homepage for up to 1 month.
Some of the additional features that may be included in your new site are:
• newsletter subscribe/unsubscribe
• easy to update photo slideshows
• photo galleries
studio x will instruct you on the use and maintenance of these features.
