1. Overview This Domain Registration Agreement explains the terms and conditions that apply when you register, renew, transfer, or manage a domain name through studio x, inc. ("studio x").
By submitting a domain registration request, you agree to this Agreement, our Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, the Tucows/OpenSRS Master Domain Registration Agreement, and all applicable policies established by ICANN and the registry responsible for your selected domain extension.
studio x provides domain registration services through Tucows.com Co. ("Tucows"), an ICANN-accredited registrar that provides domain registration infrastructure and registrar services.
studio x manages your domain registration relationship, including account support, billing, administrative assistance, and coordination of registrar services. Unless you specifically request a self-managed arrangement, studio x serves as your primary point of contact for domain registration matters.
Your domain name registration remains your property and responsibility. studio x provides administrative services and support but does not acquire ownership rights or beneficial interest in your domain name.
2. Domain Registration Service Models studio x provides domain registration services through two service models: Managed Domain Name Registration and Self-Managed Domain Name Registration.
Managed Domain Name Registration (Managed DNR) With Managed Domain Name Registration ("Managed DNR"), studio x manages the administrative relationship between you and the domain registrar.
Managed DNR services may include:
domain registration and renewal management;
registrar communications;
transfer assistance;
registration record updates;
domain-related administrative requests;
coordination with registrars and registries; and
assistance with domain registration requirements.
Unless otherwise requested, you are not required to directly access registrar systems or manage registrar accounts.
studio x will make reasonable efforts to maintain your domain registration and provide renewal notices using the contact information available to us. However, you remain responsible for ensuring that your registration information is accurate and that renewal arrangements are maintained.
Self-Managed Domain Name Registration (Self-Managed DNR) With Self-Managed Domain Name Registration ("Self-Managed DNR"), you manage some or all aspects of your domain registration directly through available account tools or registrar services.
Self-Managed DNR responsibilities may include:
maintaining account credentials;
monitoring expiration dates;
initiating renewals;
approving transfers or registration changes;
maintaining accurate registration information; and
managing available domain settings.
studio x may provide support for Self-Managed DNR services, but you are responsible for actions, approvals, deadlines, and account security associated with services you manage directly.
Regardless of service model, you retain ownership and rights associated with your domain name.
3. Registering a Domain Name A domain name registration provides the right to use a specific domain name for a defined registration period, subject to applicable policies and requirements.
Submitting a registration request does not guarantee that a domain name will be successfully registered.
A domain name may be unavailable because:
another party has already registered it;
the registry has reserved or restricted it;
eligibility requirements have not been met; or
the registration does not comply with applicable policies.
A domain registration becomes active only after confirmation from the applicable registry.
4. Your Responsibilities Regardless of service model, you agree to:
Accurate Registration Information Provide accurate, complete, and current registration information, including:
You agree to update this information whenever it changes.
Incorrect, incomplete, or outdated registration information may result in suspension, cancellation, or transfer of your domain name as required by ICANN policy or registry requirements.
Lawful Use You represent that:
your domain registration does not intentionally infringe upon another party's rights;
you will not use the domain name for unlawful purposes; and
you will comply with applicable laws, regulations, and domain registration policies.
Registration of a domain name does not provide protection from trademark disputes, ownership claims, legal action, or other challenges.
5. Account Security and Access For Managed DNR customers, studio x manages registrar interactions and administrative processes on your behalf unless otherwise requested.
For Self-Managed DNR customers, you are responsible for protecting credentials and access methods used to manage your domain registration.
You should:
use strong passwords;
keep account credentials and contact information secure;
maintain current account information; and
notify studio x promptly if you believe unauthorized access has occurred.
studio x will take reasonable measures to protect account information and manage domain registration services securely.
studio x is not responsible for losses resulting from compromised credentials, inaccurate information, failure to secure information under your control, or circumstances beyond studio x's reasonable control.
6. Registration Terms and Renewals Domain registrations are provided for the registration period selected at the time of purchase.
For Managed DNR customers, studio x will provide renewal reminders and may assist with renewal processing using the contact information associated with your account.
For Self-Managed DNR customers, you are responsible for monitoring expiration dates and completing renewal actions before expiration.
If a domain expires:
the domain may stop resolving;
associated email services may stop functioning;
additional restoration fees may apply; or
the domain may eventually become available for registration by another party.
Some domain extensions have additional expiration and recovery procedures established by their registry.
7. Fees and Refunds Domain registration fees are charged according to pricing displayed at the time of purchase.
Because domain registrations are processed through third-party registries and registrars, completed registrations, renewals, and transfers are generally non-refundable.
Fees may apply for:
domain registration;
renewal;
transfer;
restoration after expiration;
premium domain names; and
registry-required services.
8. Domain Transfers You may transfer your domain registration to another registrar at any time, subject to ICANN policies and applicable registry requirements.
Transfers may require:
domain unlocking;
authorization codes (EPP/Auth Codes);
ownership verification; and
completion of transfer requirements.
studio x will assist with legitimate transfer requests.
Certain transfers may be temporarily restricted following registration, renewal, or registration information changes as required by applicable policies.
9. Registration Information and Privacy Domain registration information is collected and maintained according to ICANN requirements, registry rules, and applicable privacy laws.
Some registration information may be publicly available through registration data services as required by applicable policies.
studio x and Tucows take reasonable measures to protect customer information and use such information for legitimate registration, administration, security, and compliance purposes.
For additional information, please review our Privacy Policy.
10. Domain Disputes Domain names may be subject to disputes involving trademarks, ownership claims, abuse complaints, or other legal matters.
You agree that domain disputes are governed by applicable policies, including:
ICANN Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP);
Uniform Rapid Suspension System (URS);
registry-specific dispute procedures; and
applicable laws and court proceedings.
studio x and Tucows may be required to suspend, transfer, or modify domain registrations when directed by applicable policy, legal authority, or registry requirements.
11. Suspension, Cancellation, and Modification A domain registration may be suspended, cancelled, transferred, or modified when required to:
correct registration errors;
comply with ICANN policies;
comply with registry requirements;
comply with legal obligations;
address abuse, fraud, or security concerns; or
resolve disputes.
studio x and Tucows reserve the right to take actions necessary to protect the security and stability of domain registration services.
12. Third-Party Agreements and Policies Domain registration services are subject to requirements established by organizations beyond studio x.
By registering a domain, you agree to comply with:
Tucows/OpenSRS Master Domain Registration Agreement;
ICANN Registrant Rights and Responsibilities;
ICANN Transfer Policy;
ICANN dispute resolution policies; and
applicable registry policies.
Individual domain extensions may have additional requirements, including country-code domains and restricted domain extensions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, studio x is not responsible for:
domain name availability;
registry decisions;
expiration caused by failure to maintain required renewal arrangements;
disputes involving domain ownership or use;
